To all my friends in the Bay area (and especially my buddy at the B-Lot-Buzz blog), congratulations because you are geographically able to attend this years Mill Valley Film Festival now in it's 32nd year!Based out of both Mill Valley and San Rafael, this years line up of films serves up choice selections from both Sundance and Toronto. The opening night movie is one you all know I am gagging to see which is Precious and if you are lucky you will also get a chance to see John Hillcoat's The Road as well as Ken Loach's Looking for Eric.
Ticket prices are reasonable (compared to TIFF!) at $12.50 a movie and you also get a chance to get the $5 5@5 program. The festival kicks off on October 8th and runs through October 18th. If I lived anywhere near Mill Valley I would be attending the heck out of this festival!
