The actress who plays Alice in Wonderland in Tim Burton's 2010 version is Canberra, Australia native Mia Wasikowska. If you saw the excellent Defiance you will remember her as the girlfriend of Jamie Bell's character. HBO viewers would also recognize her from the In Treatment (not a show I enjoy) as recurring character Sophie.
