Luhrmann Buys Rights to Great Gatsby
It is one of my favorite books of all time and I was thrilled to hear that Australian director Baz Luhrmann had purchased the rights to The Great Gatsby. No studio is involved yet but this classic story of the roaring twenties has not been given the big screen treatment since Coppola directed Redford in the lead back in 1974.
