The House Always Wins

The best show I have never seen continues to dominate Tuesday night ratings with House picking up the top spot for FOX with 13.9m viewers. The show debuted four years ago with British actor Hugh Laurie playing an cynical diagnostician at a fictional Princeton-Plainsboro teaching hospital. Film director Bryan Singer (The Usual Suspects, Confession of a Dangerous Mind, Valkyrie) is an executive producer on the show and directed the pilot episode essentially setting the tone for seasons to come.

As we all know I am a total ER loyalist which has meant for sanity's sake I have had to forgo Tivoing other medical dramas and this has perhaps meant a loss when it comes to House but of course a total result when you think about Grays Anatomy!

Like every TV show ever made these days you can rent House on DVD so I may add it to my Netflix list and try my best not to see Hugh Laurie as the guy from Stuart Little!
