Steven Seagal gets Reality Show

Mr B movie himself has just inked a deal with A&E (one assumes this is the Entertainment side and not the Art side of the network!) to star in his own reality show entitled Lawman. Seagal has  been a fully fledged Deputy at Louisiana's Jefferson Parish Police Station for the last 20 years and it's now his chance to show what he does in real life (presumably as people are no longer interested in what he does on screen).

Asked about his reasons for doing the show Seagal replied 'I decided to work with A&E on this series now because I believe it's important to show the nation all the positive work being accomplished here in Louisiana.'

Believe me I am no TV snob, after all I have watched every season of Big Brother, but this is really dumb dumbed down TV. Wasn't it enough we had to watch the long haired character from called Dog The Bounty Hunter galavanting around Hawaii in Kevlar vests and hair beads:

Buy this costume here (no really, you can!)

So now we get an 'actor' who was previously Hard to Kill, Half Past Dead and also Out for a Kill patrolling the streets of New Orleans. To say this is all New Orleans needs seems redundant but good old A&E have decided to greenlight what was clearly too tasteful for Spike TV ... ahem!

Still if this fails he always has his music career.
