Appearing on The Paul O'Grady Show in the UK Kim Cattrall confirmed what many had speculated was inevitable that there was indeed going to be a Sex and the City sequel.New Line Cinema then confirmed that negotiations were indeed underway and frankly it's hard to imagine a scenario where this movie won't get made. When the movie opened earlier this year it blew away box office expectations of a $40m opening weekend coming in closer to $65-$70m. It's no secret that Hollywood studios milk franchises until they are dry and then reinvent them ... hello Batman!
If you have read my blog for any amount of time you may have guessed I am not a fan of the HBO show and hence didn't watch the flick on the big screen but there is certainly a huge audience out there for a sequel and even more from the girls of New York.
