Baz Lurhmann's 165 minute epic Australia is released today and is expected to show a very healthy box office return to recoup some of the $130M spent making the movie.

Nicole Kidman at the United Nations
Fresh from the New York Premiere of Australia Nicole Kidman hightailed it over to the UN on Tuesday (where she is a Goodwill Ambassador) to promote the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. Kidman was there supporting the UN Development Fund for Women (UNIFEM) a group she has been associated with since 2007.
