I have never watched this show but it is always cleaning up at the various
awards shows with nominations and wins all over the place. So today I read that
Monk has been given an 8th and final season by the USA network (surely their most successful show to date). The sixteen new episodes will air summer of 2009 and until then I think I will check out the last 7 seasons on Netflix to see what all the fuss is about (that's some serious couch time!). I noticed on Friday flying home to Phoenix from San Francisco on TED that
Monk has also entered the NBC on United
inflight entertainment rotation which is cool but I hope they keep showing
The Office re-runs ... Michael Scott and company are the perfect way to forget you are flying in coach!
