Daniel Radcliffe (aka Harry Potter) made his New York stage debut in Equus last week alongside fellow Potter actor Richard Griffiths. Naturally all the buzz was about such a star 'getting his kit off' as they say in Blighty and opening night was followed by, what one can only presume was a 'wand-free' after party at Chelsea Piers (odd choice of venue to me but hey I don't live there anymore!).I am not one for stage shows and even as a Potter fan wouldn't rush to see Radcliffe in this. I am sure he is a capable actor on stage but let's be honest the wizard movies are hardly a showcase for child acting talent which is in stark contrast to the galaxy of British adult acting stars that adorn the flicks.
