ithout a doubt Family Guy is the best prime time animated show on TV right now. I have always been a loyal Simpsons and King of the Hill fan but Seth McFarlane has taken the genre to new heights with the characters he has created in the Rhode Island town of Quahog. The Griffin family are the stars of the show featuring a talking baby (the wonderful Stewie) and talking dog Brian. Like The Simpsons it is also the supporting characters that flesh out the show and give it so many dimensions, from the sex-obsessed Quagmire to Mayor Adam West, voiced by ... yes, Adam West!Sunday nights season opener was as edgy as you can get for 8pm on a major network and I love that the show can continue to raise even the most jaded of eyebrows.
Mr McFarlane now has his own home on youtube, Seth McFarlane's Cavalcade of Comedy, well worth a visit!
