One of my favorite TV shows returns for a third season tonight on Showtime, Dexter. This is a deliciously black humored show which uniquely mixes thriller, slash and comedy genres together ... and it actually works! Six Feet Under's Michael C Hall does a superb job of bringing a cold ruthless killer to our screen and still making us like him. I actually ordered Showtime simply for this show (well and to get caught up on Weeds too!) but have not yet seen the third season on DVD. Netflix is due to deliver my season two discs this week so I will apologize in advance if I am all about blood and guts over the coming days!
